Slow down, Find what you need.
Gather it into your life.
This is no easy task. What lies ahead is rich, it is challenging and it will help you to live more fully and with more depth in your life.
Let’s return to health and coherence, together.
Welcome.
You’re in the right place.
What is the Cauldron?
This collection is open to you for fourteen days. After that, you choose whether to go further — with the work, and with the other men of Elemental Crossroads, doing it alongside you.
Membership runs a year. You go at your own pace. Dive in, and find what actually works for you.
We stand at a crossroads in every moment — the choice to keep carrying what we've always carried, or to set some of it down. Health isn't a finish line. It's what becomes available when you start showing up to life — differently.
You can rewrite the story. You can redefine who you want to be, and how you want to live. That's the whole premise of this work.
If you're ready, I'd be glad to have you. Come find what's alive in the Crossroads.

What’s up with the Cauldron?
The Essence
The Cauldron (Ting, hexagram 50) is one of only two concrete, man-made objects in the entire Yi Jing — The Book of Changes. Ting is a bronze vessel used in temples to hold and refine sacred offerings and to serve the purpose of nourishing the spirits. Its meaning transcends the vessel itself.
Like the cauldron that sits firmly on three legs while its contents undergo transformation through fire, this hexagram represents the balance between stability and change, tradition and innovation.
It represents civilization reaching its culmination in culture and spirit, not merely survival. While the Well (hexagram 48) nourishes the people, the Cauldron nourishes able men—fostering the development of those with a capacity for growth and transformation.
I believe that you are one of these men: ready for growth, ready for change, ready for health.
The Core Dynamic
The hexagram shows Fire (Li, the clinging, light-giving) above Wood/Wind (Xun, the gentle, penetrating). The wood fuels the flame—a perfect image of nourishment through transformation.
As the text states: "All that is visible must grow beyond itself, extend into the realm of the invisible. Thereby it receives its true consecration and clarity and takes firm root in the cosmic order."
The Cauldron teaches us that the highest earthly values must be sacrificed to the divine, and that this sacrifice finds its truest expression through human vessels—prophets, teachers, holy men—those who accept responsibility for their own spiritual development.
What the Cauldron Teaches:
The Yi Jing hexagram 50 presents a bronze vessel—ancient, sacred, functional. It holds two truths simultaneously:
It is nourishment (the visible gift, the concrete holding)
It is sacrifice (transformation through offering the visible to the invisible)
The Cauldron says: the highest earthly values ascend only when fed into the spiritual. The shadow doesn't block this path; it is the fuel. Wood burning in flame; poison revealed as virtue distorted.
The image of the cauldron also represents the importance of proper nourishment on multiple levels. Just as the ancient bronze vessel was used to prepare offerings for ancestors and feasts for community, this hexagram reminds us that we must nourish ourselves spiritually, intellectually, and physically.
The transformation that occurs within the cauldron is not random but follows time-tested principles. By respecting these principles while adapting them to present circumstances, we achieve the balance necessary for true progress.
The supreme good fortune promised by this hexagram comes to those who understand that refinement is a process requiring patience, proper tools, and reverence for the transformative journey itself.
Guiding Questions:
What am I unconsciously feeding into my fire and my sacred vessel that is playing out today?
What actually nourishes me? What am I truly hungry for? What is simmering beneath the surface?
What are you willing to offer to your own sense of divinity? What part of yourself must you sacrifice for the life you're actually meant to live?
Where am I ready to grow beyond myself?
Stepping in, stepping up
I call to you,
wanderer of the seas and of the stars.
Wanderer of this plain and of this fire bright.
I call to you.
I call to you from times long past and places most unknown.
There is something here for you,
only you may know what lies beneath this darkened stone.
I see you in your trials, I see you in your pain
Many roads you’ve traveled and many lives you’ve known.
I see you as you stumble and pick it all up again.
Rest inside this chamber, for there is much to gather in.
Put down your warp and weft, put down your quill and page
For now there is a calling of something more to gain.
The sun will set and the suns may rise
I call on you to seek your path and reclaim these burdensome lies.
I call on you.
Rules of Engagement:
Authenticity
Honesty
Respect
Kindness
Confidentiality
This is what is expected of you in Elemental Crossroads. We are not here to perform or pretend. We are not here to bypass the necessary work of becoming whole men.
We gather because midlife demands that we look unflinchingly at who we've been, who we've abandoned within ourselves, and who we're becoming. That requires vulnerability without self-pity, honesty without cruelty, and the willingness to sit with discomfort while others sit with you. We ask that you show up fully—bring your wholeness — your shadow, your doubt, your fear, your rage—and that you do so in service of the collective as much as yourself.
We hold confidentiality as sacred because without it, there is no safety. There is no transformation. If you're here to collect insights like trophies, or to maintain the persona that got you here, you're in the wrong place. If you cannot hang with that—if you cannot commit to the fire of genuine work—then get out of the fire. There's no shame in that.
We're building something real.
The Cauldron is just the beginning, revealing the patterns of what is available to you. The deeper work — the medicine, the herbal formulas, the guidance, the year of supporting your health in the company of other men — lives in Elemental Crossroads. When you are ready, the door is open. I’ll meet you there.
